have an 05 slk350 bought new.  transmission had to replace torque converter at 100,000 mile and now at 103,000 new at conductor plate.  no recall but reviews on the net show this to be a common problem with this transmission.  now i read 2012 review and transmission shifting issues.  this is how my transmission acted from the get.  guess they never addressed the same old problem.  won't consider another mb
