Buick LaCrosse Fuel Economy Disappoints

My LaCrosse with 4 CYL eAssist gets 5 to 7 MPG less than the window sticker indicates.  The fuel economy in econ mode is not as good as my Camry V6.  Buick field engineers had the car for two days and said everything checks out OK.  What is the fuel economy experience of others?  

The translucent roof sun shade lets in the hot sun during mid day and it feels like I am in an oven. Any others with same experience. My friends with Cadillacs say they have lesser problem since the sunshade is not as translucent.
