Have a 2011 Jeep GC Overland with 1600 miles. The ac pours out cold air regardless of the temp setting or if only cabin recirculation is selected. Had vehicle to dealer and learned that all 2011 6 cyl. models have the ac compressor running constantly and that this is by Jeep design. However the 8 cyl. model has the HVAC opereating like other ""normal" vehicles. It is uncomfortable, has to have an effect upon mpg and wear and tear on the compressor. Anyone else unhappy with the HVAC system on the 2011 6 cyl. models?

I have a 2011 JGC Limited with 3.6 l Pentastar engine and 4000 miles. The HVAC system one day started to perform strangely - to achieve a 5 degrees (Celcium) difference between outside and inside temperetures (in cooling mode) I need to set HVAC to a 10 to 11 degrees difference e.g. if it is +30C outside, to have +25C inside my JGC I have to set HVAC to +19 or +20 C! If I set it to +23...+24C I will have +30 inside, or +29 at the least. I guess one (or all) of the inside temperature sensors is out of order.
