In 2003, I bought my dream car, a 2004 Nissan Altima 3.5.  It looked good, it drove fine.  I loved that car…that is until my warranty ran out.  I developed a small leak during warranty.  I took it to the dealer, they said it was nothing.  After warranty it developed into a big leak.  They told me it would cost almost $2,200.  I took it to another mechanic who only charged me $1,800.  Hey, $400 is $400.  Two years later the leak came back.  I took it to another mechanic who charged my $2,300.  I paid it.  The last time, the car was in the shop (because I kept returning it with the leak) for almost 3 weeks until the leak stopped (it cost me another $2,500).  A year later, like the movie Poltergeist, “We’re back.”  Has anyone thought of hiring a class action lawyer on this problem?  My Lord, what a nightmare.  MD
