i have a pontiac grand prix gtp 1992 it did not come with a book and i need to know where the fuse for the alarm is so that i can disarm it to be able to jump it off

Usually, you can simply disconnect your battery terminal connection for 15-20 minutes that reset your alarm setting.
It may help you out to disarm your alarm. Alternatively, you can remove your alarm fuse under alarm unit.

Yes as Robin has correctly stated to disconnect the battery terminals for a short while which will reset the warning lights which are recurring in nature. This is mainly done to reset the ecu which has been in the same state for many years/time. You can also look up in automotix.net in the DIY section for a comprehensive instruction manual specifically for your 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix which will enable you to locate and rectify the fault.
