$400,000 for the LFA is ridiculous.  Let us not forget the pricing debacle of the GenIV Supra--IIRC initial purchasers paid approximately $70,000, then the price was reduced by half due to slow sales.  Optimistic price schedules are not new to Toyota/Lexus.  I can purchase a Ferrari 458 Italia for approximately $200,000 for asphalt outings, an Icon 4x4 for about $80,000 for offroad excursions, and a $40,000 Ducati 1098S for track days at the local circuit, and I'll still have $80,000 with which to play!

Maybe it's due to the season...?

Me?  If I had $400,000 to spend, I'd spend it on a custom built hotrod and matching teardrop trailer, not on this LFA thing.

RooseHurro,
Thank you for the reply!  I can't believe this car has not generated more emotion than one reply!  Does anyone read Automobile?  Does anyone that reads Automobile belong to the web community?  This car, I predict, will be the biggest debacle to ever come from Japan!
