When I make a fairly sharp left turn and apply the brakes, I hear a real nasty squeal
coming from the front wheels. It sounds like metal to metal. The brakes are in good condition and it doesn't happen any other time. Has anyone else had this problem with a Cobalt? Do you know what the cause is?  You can email me at
