Bought a new Cobalt Jan.09.Had brake problems and a front end rattle.Dealer fixed brake problem with new modifications but could not find the rattle.Was washing the car and found the hood was loose and thought that was the source of rattle.Took it to the dealer for there examination. They could not fix it and found that all the new Cobalts on the lot had the same defect.Dealer made a call to GM tecnical dept. and there responce was the latch was working as designed. TAC case # 10980686. How disappointing is that? No wonder they don't have the public's trust. I try to avoid railroad tracks when there are passengers in the car.Sounds like the front end is coming apart and of couse they always ask,"what's that?" OH well,guess what my next car won't be.
