I have a suggestion:
Why not market the G8 in the U.S and Canada as the Holden Commodore?  Why should an Australian vehicle that really hits the spot not be marketed as what it is??

As an Industrial Designer, I have come to believe that the rebranding of Chevy TrailBlazers as Saabs, rebranding of Subarus as Saabs ( and other misadventures ) have contributed heavily to buyers' mistrust of GM.  

Why not tell those good people down under that their brand is going onto the world stage?

Let Oldsmobile, Hummer, Pontiac and Saab go, and replace them with a winner!!

Here's to the future of a truly renewed GM.
