I have a 02 GMC Seirra 1500 with 80,000 klicks and have put new brake pads on all four wheels and had to change one caliper as the bleeder screw broke off. The caliper came from a auto wrecker. Now when I am driving and going real slow about 5mph and ride the brake very lite it comes back at me like there is a back pressure in there. If I let go of the peddle and push it down again it works fine or push very hard it will go down and stop the truck good and it does not do this if I am going fast and I have no trouble stoping the truck. Would anybody have any tips as to why it is doing this Fred

Caliper must be bent and thus not distributing the pressure properly under normal operating conditions. Once pressure increases, the caliper flattens agains the rotor and performance increases. Still, even in hard breaking conditions this bad caliper would not perform as well as one perfect part. I don't mess with the breakes or steering systems. Change the caliper a.s.a.p.. You don't want that caliper to lock a piston open and get you no breaking power in that wheel.
