I'm looking to buy a used car, and I have come across privately listed Corvettes offered at what I think are really low prices. E.g 1999 black Corvette convertible, 175,811 km, Clear Features Engine: 8 Cylinder 5.7 Liter Exterior color: Black Transmission: Automatic Fuel type: Gasoline Equipment AM/FM Radio Cruise Control...etc., $5000. 2004 Chevy Corvette 53,000 km, $4500, Pre-owned, 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Hardtop, $4500. Are these normal range prices, or are they too good to be true? And what should I be looking for when checking the vehicle out? Any features or equipment that should be on it, or any problems that I should look out for and be wary of? Any tips in general when it comes to pruchasing a used Corvette (or even a new one?) Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Like my daddy said, if it sounds too good to be true... it is.
