Hi all. I am new to this forum and just thought I would drop a line. I was drawn to this site because of an article I read on the blogs about a 1971 300 SEL There was a lot of pics and talk about how cool to drive this retro beast nowadays. Now I can't find the article, lol. Anyway I didn't see any forum pertaining to vintage or classic Mercedes.
I own a 1971 280SEL. I've only owned it less than a year, but I can't ever imagine having been without it. Such a great car. I was wondering if there are any other vintage owners in this forum.

Hello Rauchen! I picked up my 1972 280SE 4.5 quite by happen stance. A business owner fell on hard times while owing me money for some work I did for his business. I had previously noticed the car stored along with some other equipment behind his business and asked about it. We made small talk, as I also have a 1979 450SL. I was stunned when this honorable man called to tell me of his situation and offered me this car in consideration of payment. I took the deal. I will post more info and photos at a later date. There is no comparison of Mercedes ,it has luxury & sporty look as well.
I rally want to have Mercedes A-Class.I like stunning black one.

The new 2013 mercedes SL550 from the sixth generation SL class has gone official.
Soon it is expected to hit the market in the mid of 2012.
