programmed driver mirror to drop down when care is in reverse, recently turned this feature off (checked menu and it's off). mirror now drops down when engine is turned off after a few minutes. even if i adjust the mirror so that it's pointing into the ionosphere, when i turn the engine off the mirror drops down and is pointing at the road. any idea how to correct this short of taking it back to the dealer ?

Stop by and ask the dealer their thoughts. It may be an easy fix. Maybe try to cycle the feature on and then off again.

i noticed that the mirror is set to the down position when i use the remote to open the door.

Found the answer, the remote can be programmed to set the seat,mirror and radio settings. So when you press unlock on the remote they will all go to a set position, which you specifiy by pressing the 'S' on the seat settings, then the '1' setting and then press 'lock' on the remote.
