http://www.automk.com/viewthread.php?tid=45803&highlight=RR%2Bof%2Bthe%2BDay%3A%2B%2784%2BBMW%2B633CSi Back in 1976, BMW sought to produce a coupe that would be the spiritual successor to the CS and CSLs of the previous decade. In doing so, the E24 6-series was born. The bodies were originally produced by Karmann and came in two trim levels: 630CS and 633CSi. The latter came equipped with a 181 HP, 3.2-liter inline-six and this example from 1984 kicks off this week's RR of the Day, 80s edition. This particular "Shark," as it's affectionately known in Bimmer-speak, has been put away for the winter and, aside from a lowered suspension and an M-spoiler, left in stock condition by its owner. The body is rust free and the mechanicals are in good enough shape to provide sunny-day amusement for Flickr member E24. We're looking for more 80s-era goodness, so make sure to submit your own glam-rock blaring ride to our Flickr group by following the directions posted after the jump.
