It's obvious why the editors don't "get" the 6 series; the 6 is the sexiest beastie in the BMW line (although the 3 is certainly better looking now than before).

They're so far removed by the cache this car affords, they can't understand the car's appeal other than the engine. It's kind of like the wives' tail about when native Americans first viewed the large European ocean-bearing ships and couldn't comprehend what they were seeing.
