Your article comparing the V6 to V8, with the latter costing $5,000 more is inacurate in suggesting that the $5,000 represents the difference in the cost of the engine. The V8 comes standard with amenities which cost $3,000 extra on the V-6 so the cost of the V-8 (which also has amenities which are not even available as options on the V6) is $2,000, making it a super-buy with all the toys attached. But note that more power comes with more weight - about 500 pounds more.

I drove the Genesis V8 w/ Tech package. Nice car at a very good price. I hope the 2010 model fixes a couple of things: Smooth out the ride. Am I the only one that feels the road vibration and bumps too much. Suspension problems? Switch out all Hyundai logos with the Genesis Wing logo!!!!! They will sell many more cars the minute they address these two issues!!!!

I drove a Genesis V8, and the power was impressive, no doubt about it. But the V6 is no slouch, either. I wouldn't fault anyone for choosing one over the other. Just comes down to personal preference.
