I have a 2000 Jag S Sedan with 75000 miles. The tranny started slipping so I took it to a reputable tranny garage and they rebuilt it. They had done over 70 Jags. It still slipped. Baffled, they bought another core with 40000 miles on it and rebuilt that one. It still slips. Could it be some kind of electronic problem, switch or cable? We don't know what to do next.
thanks

It sounds to me like some kind of electrical problem. I don't know much about the 2000 S-Type tranny but it sounds like the ECU or a sensor may be giving the wrong info to the tranny.
