Coincidence?  I know the car that Dective Spooner drove (and wrecked) was supposed to be an Audi, but it sure looked like the R8.  You will note the R8 surfaced shortly after the movie.

A person buying the Audi R8 will be the last person to be concerned about the fuel efficiency, still for readers, it gets about 3-5km/l depending on the engine variant and the type of driving.
