A quick scan of the Automobile Magazine Buyer's Guide reminded me that there are a ton of cars on sale in America. Obviously, many aren't overly exciting but more than a few get your blood pumping.
If you could pick one new car to take on a 30 minute test drive, what would it be?

Good choices, they're two of my favorites. I drove a supercharged Atom in England in June and it was fantastic. I don't think my hair (I didn't have a helmet or goggles) will ever recover after hitting an indicated 140 mph at Bruntingthorpe proving grounds. Manic and wonderful.

Stradale Challenge. If for nothing else I'd like to feel for myself the difference between it and the standard F430, which I've had to the good fortune to have driven in the past (yeah, friends with cool cars are indeed great). Fat chance of a dealer allowing such a test drive to happen, what with me having ZERO Ferrari buying history (once Hot Wheels and other sundry die-casts have been disallowed, of course).
Back down to earth (or at least more so), I'd like to take the updated Vantage out for a spin. Or a Granturismo S. I really liked my driving experience with the previous V8 Vantage coupe, but then I really didn't get the opportunity to wind it out, what with the snooty sales(slime)guy breathing down my neck during the entire time. Maybe he's quit by now (or better yet, fired), and it's time for another visit to the A-M store.

I just realized that these are basically Lotus (Atom is basically a modern 7 - and I wouldn't argue against substituting a new Caterham 7 for it).
Chapman had the right concept.

Hmm anything? I was at a VW dealership not too long ago and drove one of the new TDIs and Routan...which were fine for all practical means, but anything... either a tvr sagaris or a tvr cerbera- im pretty obsessed with tvr in general

I have to pick only one? All of the previous mentioned cars would be cool.
Probably the F430 would be my choice if I had to pick one. If I come back here tomorrow, I might have a different choice!
