HYDROGEN is the way to *** its clean, affordable, and we can make it very easily with no negative effects on the atmosphere. they alredy have some hydrogen cars and refuel stations in europe. The US just has to open up its eys and start start pushing american automakers to start producing more hydrogen cars. gm already has a hydrogen prototype but there really isnt a market for it yet (which is why we have to start making more refuel stations

Actually, hydrogen does have an effect on the atmosphere ... unless the considerable amount of energy it takes to produce it comes from non-polluting sources such as wind, solar, hydro, et al.
I didn't used to be a fan of plug in electrics. But, my feelings have changed as of late, with one stipulation. Electric vehicles powered by the clean sources I mentioned above seem very attractive environmentally. And, for daily commutes of 50-100 miles or less (that's most people) they would serve just fine.
