I have 02 silverado that decides not to start every once in a while.  When I go to start it and nothing happens. i hear the faintest click when i crank the key hard, but that is it.  this has happened two other times in the past year.  the other times i got it going by screwing with the key, vigarously cranking back and forth until i got something.  this time i cant get it to do anytihng.  

85000 miles and problems.  I have heard of this problem with other silverados as well but have not heard of what causes it.  My battery is brand new and my fuses seem to be good. need new ideas to check
