We now have a Lexus IS-F in our Four Seasons fleet.
What do you all think of this car? Is it a true competitor for the M3 and C63 AMG? Had Lexus finally built a world-class sports sedan?
Eager to hear your thoughts...

I like all three, but the M3 seems to be the "drivers car" of the bunch. Like the C63, I think its (IS-F) a bit over styled as well. Nice to see Lexus getting in the game though.

I think you are spot on. Having driven all three, the M3 is the driver's choice but Mercedes and Lexus both did an excellent job on their models. And I also agree that the styling of the Lexus isn't as cohesive as the others.

I also agree that the styling of the IS-F leaves a lot to be desired. I personally do not care for the looks at all. Of the Lexus, BMW, and M-B offerings, I'd take home the M3. What turned me off of the IS-F, and I am not sure if I read this in Automobile, was that the stacked tailpipes are a complete farce. Nothing but eye candy, the actual pipes aren't even attached to what you see on the real valance. Now, I also know the IS-F is lightning quick, but those fake pipes scream 'poseur'. I hate to harp on such a small detail, but I just don't get why Lexus did that. They had a car with the right numbers, so, why???
