Has anyone used these spacers to lift their Jeep?  Do they work well?  Any problems?  Do you need to drop t-case and change shocks?

I've never used them, but I see lots of Jeeps running around with the spacers. I don't see why you would need a t-case drop to run them. You can probably get by with your existing shocks, but longer shocks would probably give you a little more travel.

Are you planning to run bigger tires at all? What year is the Jeep?

Body lifts("BL" in jeepspeak) are good for adjusting your jeep - a 1" BL is a real improvement for many reasons I won't go into, but I'm not much for them as a lift in itself.

I have the MORE body lift.  They're 1.25", with that 1/4" helping to fit other parts.

If you use a body lift, you should also put in a motor mount lift (MML) to lift the fan with the body.  I used the JKS MML - there are many others, incl. MORE's.

You will generally not have interference anywhere with a BL/MML combo, but the shifter will be sunk an inch, so you may have trouble shifting into 2n and 4th as the stick may contact the shifter boot trim.  I removed the rubber boot and replaced it with a leather one, which is thinner.  (A 'tummy tuck' - flatbelly tcase skid for a TJ - will raise the tranny back up to original position.)

I'm using the Old Man Emu kit and it rates 5 stars with me.  With the 1" BL, it clears 33" tires and makes the TJ into what it should have been from the showroom.  If you want to go bigger, you should consider a 4" short arm kit, etc.

There is a line with the TJ at 33" in cost and complexity of build.  Bigger than that, it gets more involved; changing one part requires changing many others...

You don't need longer shocks until you get into the 3"-4" lift range.  I have stock length with the OME kit.

Although I have yet to place the 2" lift or "Budget Boost" on the 07 commander, I have placed them on the "late" 99 Wrangler. The installation took about 2 hours.. and was nothing more then popping out the "coil" springs and inserting the spacers above and replacing the coils..

One thing I wasn't away of.. The spacers are made of a tough and durable polyurethane. But has been treated to resist UV sunlight.. Thou some spacers if lift in the sun will fade over time not matter what. But because the spacer is under the vehicle. one doesn't need to worry about the spacer ever fading.. But a constant check of the spacers is required.

If you do allot of off road travel and you have a "flex" system, which allows the jeeps's suspension to flex past and way beyond normal operation.. the Spacers will need to be checked often.

I feel its an inexpensive away to add some height to you jeep or any vehicle. At this point I'm waiting for two manufactures to contact me on my request to use their spacers on our Jeep and write a review for said product.
