My dad is in the market fo r a new full size truck. He wants to stick with GM because he's had good luck with his '02 Silverado. My question: Is it worth it to spend a little more for a GMC than a Chevy? Has anybody made the switch?

They are the same truck but some people say that the GMC will have slightly better resale value. With these fuel prices, don't expect much resale value from either.
