how much will it cost for audi R8's maintenance?

The 5k maintenance was free and in most ways the car has been totally reliable for me.
However, the brake pads and rotors all needed to be replaced at 4,000 miles, and that was a $2,500 expense. There was no warning that the brake pads were low until the rotors suddenly started to show damage.
The car has 12 - 14 days of track time. So figure that every day on the track does $200 worth of wear on your brakes.
