It's impossible to even guess the value with no mention of condition, mileage, options. If you want a ballpark figure, check Hemmings.com for other Toro's. Is this a car they've owned for years, just keeping up with regular service? Or were they Toro enthusiasts, owning a fully restored example?
A real brief history since you just inherited the car. Congrats, BTW. The '66 Toro is still well loved for its clean, elegant styling. For its time, it was an IT car. You had arrived, you had style, and car savvy. The Toronado had style, luxury and performance in spades, and amazingly, front wheel drive!
The concept of the luxury four seater luxury sports coupe has all but disappeared from the Big Three. Many may disagree, but today the only big sport coupes with the swagger the Olds Toronado possessed in its heyday that exist today are the BMW 6-Series and Mercedes CL-Coupes.
You inherited a legendary car! Enjoy it.
