im all for these new saturns, but i doubt they will make a big difference for saturn. does anybody honestly look at a saturn badge and think mid-market? nope. GM should have positioned SAAB where saturn is now.

The Saturns we see now are best the brand has ever offered us. I am sad to hear the Aura is a real slow seller. I hope the new Astra does better.
It is possible that after selling the American public junk cars for nearly 18 years has robbed Saturn of any good will or brand equity they had enjoyed for their initially good marketing and PR plan. A pity the cars never measured up.
Bottom line, is this too little, too late for Saturn? Personally, I find it very depressing that Saturn never even came close to what was promised to us initially-a small, quality car, made in America that would be as good as any Honda or Toyota. GM has waved the white flag by offering us German-built Opel's.
Saturn may be offering us better cars, but as a brand, they totally failed America b failing to live up to their promise.
