Anyone know why it takes 4 months to get a factory ordered Ford?

I've been waiting almost 4 months for my Mercury Grand Marquis.  When I ordered it, the dealer had told me it would be an 8-12 week wait, but it is going to end up being 4 months.  I should have another week to go before my beauty arrives!

Yes but they were missing the requisite white vinyl roof
