Has anyone out there experienced their transmission to lock into 3rd and 4th when the outside temp gets around 15 degrees? As soon as the engine warms to the first hash mark it will generally allow you to shift to the other gears. Any ideas on what causes this and what can be done about it? 2003 Mini S ![]()

Old or low transmission fluid.
Change the fluid immediately.
You might want to see if it's leaking as well.
