Does any one know how to report a complaint to Honda? I'd like Yonkers Honda to be put on notice and be monitored by the Honda company.

Do not go to Yonkers Honda!!!  You do this at your own risk.

2000 Central Park Ave
Yonkers, NY 10710.
Sales Rep Bill Guido and Owner Bob Feinberg

I used AutoByTel.com to get a quote for a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L.  I received a quote from Yonkers Honda promptly. The quote was a decent price. The dealer also promised that he has the color, Green, that I requested. I went to the show room and the dealer said he does not have the Green color that I want. But he promised he will get one for me without a problem. Since I did not require a car delivery for two weeks, I agreed and put down a deposit. For the next two weeks, I had to call the dealer to get a VIN and received one. The dealer said he would call and confirmed the purchase and he never did. The night before I was to pick up the car, I received a call from a different person from Yonkers Honda. She confirmed that I was getting a red car instead of the green that I requested. I am quite angry that Yonkers   was going to sell me a car that I didn't want and did not tell me until the night before I was to pick up the car.

Currently, I am awaiting the return of my deposit.

My name is Bob Feinberg and I do run Yonkers Honda.  Everything that this customer says is 100% accurate.  Her sales representative was new to Yonkers Honda but in the Honda business for over 20 years.  He made a very careless mistake.  He has paid for that mistake as he no longer works here.  However, anything that goes wrong at Yonkers Honda is my reponsibility. The deposit was returned and embarassed apologies were offered.

With 3500 sales tranactions and 20000 service transactions every year, dumb mistakes are rare but possible.  We have thousands of loyal customers.  We enjoy excellent CSI ratings from Honda.  Despite our error in this case, we are a great place to buy a car and are extremely loyal to customers who do buy from us.  Feel free to contact me.  914 961 8180

Definitely do not go to Yonkers Honda.  Long story short, I was told by a salesperson that I would not be approved unless I put low jack on the car.  I contacted the leasing company directly and found out that this was a lie. This is listed as number 2 in UCAN's Top Ten List of Auto Scams.  I am now having trouble getting my deposit back and am very surprised to read that Bob Feinberg runs Yonkers Honda because I was given a different name when I asked.

I must say I could not disagree more.
My credit is not that good, yet Yonkers Honda in a very forthright and honest way got me approved at an interest I agreed with and a monthly payment I could afford. I could not have had a more pleasurable experience if I were a family member of that dealership.
Bob Feinberg runs a tight ship and I have referred numerous clients to Yonkers Honda as a result of his professionalism.
DEFINITELY DO GO TO YONKERS HONDA

I went to Yonkers Honda for the 30,000 mile servicing on my 2005 Civic Hybrid, and I'm sorry I didn't shop around further from home.  They tagged on some other "37,000 mile emissions system" service because my odometer was actually up to 38,000 miles.  The total bill came out to $800.  I just called Curry Honda after reading a recommendation on another post, and they said they do the 30,000 mile servicing for $300.  Unfortunately, there seems to be no good way to gauge what the usual and customary cost should be for a particular service unless you call a bunch of individual places.

I have to agree with you. The day I went to Yonkers Honda to sign the paperwork, the finance manager Jamie Casanova yelled at me for being late. The next morning he called me at 7:00 am to apologize (I'm sure he got a piece of mind from the GM). I decided to purchase the vehicle after all since the waive the initial fee and gave me the mats (after calling the salesperson several times, finally got them). The day I signed the paper work the finance manager told me that all my service will free of charge for the duration of the lease, just a way to further apologize for his behavior and to make sure I gave him a good rating. Everything was find until I had to bring the car for service and I had to pay for it. The service office called Mr. Casanova and of course he has short term memory and said that he never agreed to that. I called the GM, Greg who was very nice and offer to take care of the oil change. What bother me the most is that Mr. Casanova lie in my face and did not keep his word. Please make sure that you get any offer from Mr. Casanova or anyone at that dealership in writing, these people will lie bluntly on your face. Mr. Casanova is certainly not a man of his word. And I thought New Rochelle Toyota was bad, but Yonkers Honda is as bad as they are.
I'm switching to GM!

I SUSPECT THAT ALL THE POSITIVE RATINGS CAME FROM EMPLOYEES. It’s not typical for former buyers to respond to negative threads unless it is to carry the steak to the burning. It's all true what they say about car dealers! I use to work at Yonkers Honda. I watched one sales man sell his soul to the devil, ok not really. But I did witness some unethical behavior and decided that just was not the business for me. Do you researcher before buying a car. Edmunds.com has great info on it. No your credit score, apply for a bank loan and know what you can afford to pay.. Get insurance rate quotes prior to purchasing. Do not just except the fees that they pile on at the end of the sale.

I ended up going to NJ out of all places to buy my Honda.  I went online to shop around, and too many confusing websites.  I went on one that sent info for Yonkers Honda, and New Rochelle Honda.  The guys at New Rochelle Honda were very nice, but did not have the car I was looking for, and I had a time crunch cause I was going away to Iraq, im in the Military.  I got an email from a Richard at Yonkers Honda, who said I have the car your looking for.  I asked him do you have it in stock, cause I have a time issue, he said sure I have it.  I went there they said it was at another lot, and they would bring it over the next day.  They showed me a vehicle, but said they had it, in the color I wanted.  THEY LIED, right to my face.  They never had the vehicle in inventory, all they tried to do was get my money, and tried to get me to take another color. I wrote a letter to Honda, and I also sent a copy to the Attorney General's office.  I went to Paramus Honda, were they said they had the car, and sent me the photos of the vehicle, with the VIN#.  They even sent me a photo of the vehicle with my name on it.  I am a Veteran of the US Army.  I had a time issue, and Yonkers Honda didn't care about that.  But Paramus Honda did.  I AGREE, DON'T GO TO YONKERS HONDA!!!!!
