Buy a standard windshield, installed by a good shop with a good reputaion.

I'm very lucky here in Fredericksburg.

We have a shop that routinely sells great quality windshields for just under $200 installed.

Remeber, any stret legal windshiled could be damaged he net time you drive the car down the street.

Most insurance companies will not replace a specialty windshield with the same.

I agree, insurance companies will not pay for a good amount of things these days, also changing your windshield to a non OEM FVMSS windshield, could reduce the structure of your vehicle, and if you roll your car it could signifigantly reduce your roof crush, and possibly kill you.

Thanks for that information about the non stock windsheld,I did'nt even think about that fact.

And I've been in several vehicle rollovers in my lifetime.
