Anytime a company is selling their product and it is related to cars or trucks there is bound to be an attractive female nearby for advertisement purposes.  This video I found from this year's SEMA that happened in October shows many of the girls that were at the SEMA show in Vegas.  The whole reason behind this show is for aftermarket car part companies to come and showcase their products.  Do people go to see the actual products and displays or do they go for the girls?

You want to sell auto parts,you major customer group is male.

It helps.

And despite what some women might say,putting a pretty woman with your product as long as her stuff is'nt hanging out,is'nt a problem for most of them.

Also, the fact that it's in Vegas probably helps reduce the costs of the women since there are so many there now and so many that fly in on weekends for work.

Couple extra bucks to get an attractive woman that could draw people's attention?  Sounds like a great business plan to me.    

hammatime's gotta point. the main target market is male, and sex sells. it just sucks that women have to be objectified in such a way in order to sell a product. but it is what it is: smart marketing.

i give mad props to those companys that are able to be successful w/out the use of such marketing tactics.  

i don't think there are many companies that are successful that don't market with sex. wait until superbowl day with all those crazy advertisements. i bet a lot will be geared towards men.
