I have a GS 1999, it's only repair after 73000 miles is two rear shocks, the rest is maintainance new brakes, tires. We get 27 mpg on trips, does not burn oil, Amsoil synthetic has always been used, changed at 10k miles. We are trading for an Avalon.. hope it is as good.

Well, I did it. I'm buying one. After testdriving it I knew it was the car for me. Long live the landyacht. They have a nice rebate on them so I'm getting one loaded for about $23,500. I challenge you finding a car as nice as this one for the price. Consumer Reports can have their Toyota Avalons and Honda Accords. Give me big Detroit iron!
It's going to take 8-12 weeks for me to get it though, according to the dealer.

I have a 2003 LS. I have to say I really like the car. I bought it 2 years ago with 15000 miles on it. The only trouble I have had so far is the windshield wiper motor went bad. It would have been an expensive repair except I purchased an extended warranty which covered the repair. It a comfortable car and that gets about 23 miles to the gallon around town. I will probably buy another one but it will also be a couple of years old when I buy it. With a little barganing it costs about 1/2 of the price of a new one. Good luck ionsphere with your new one. Take care of it, it might be mine in a couple of years.

Glad you like your car. I've still got about another 3 weeks to wait for mine (going to be over a 3 month wait!!!). Hope I like it as much as I expect. This should be the nicest car I've ever had, and expect to be a lot more comfortable than the 2000 Dodge Neon I just had.
