Read Sam Smith's review of the new Cayenne. Do you think this minor refresh is enough to boost sales back up for Porsche?

I don't think a face lift will help the Cayenne much. The problem with the car isn't so much the looks as it is the badge. I'm not saying because it's a Porsche it's a bad car--quite the opposite actually. It's a car that can't live up to the Porsche name. To quote the writer:
"But once the novelty wears off, boredom sets in."
A Porsche shouldn't be boring. A Porsche should be a car that you can take to the track and do laps around your buddies with a big grin on your face. You can't do that with an SUV, even if it is a Porsche, so ultimately it will be a disappointing car no matter how much you change the styling.

Thats the thing... its an SUV not a car. Porsche is raising the bar for all SUV manufacturers with this rig. its making an SUV more fun to drive. if you want a true Porsche drive and feeling then dont get the Cayenne.
