Spy photographers have recently caught an F-150 test mule running around Michigan, and it has an interesting change. There are small doors toward the front of the bed to make for easier access to the front of the cargo area. Good idea or ugly design?

Actually, this change is born out of necessity.
The trucks bed sidewalls have become so tall only an NBA player can reach into the backs of the beds to get anything.
If it's done with the bed looking conventional, what's the harm?
The only real issue would be will the bed be strong still and how much extra cost would be added to the price of the truck?
