I have found that car manufacturers (e.g. GM
Ford, Toyota), consumers test organizations (e.g. Consumers Reports) and Car Search/Buying firms (e.g. Edmunds, etc.) have no provision to search for cars that are AWD or 4WD, exclusive of body style (i.e. sedan verses
SUV).  If one is looking for all cars which have either AWD or 4WD, you have to know which manufacturer has that feature to be sure you look at all the available models.  Somehow, with todays computers and search capabilities, one should be able to sort for your potential next car based upon your needs and priorities, not some marketing category (e.g.SUV).

Automotive.com has such a feature.
