We all know the new Tundra is huge, but read our review here and see what we really think of it. Did we get it right?

Don't know, since I don't care much bout pickups to begin with.  I do believe I heard others moaning though how the first Tundra still wasn't as big as PU's offered by the big 2.5 when it came to bed size or load size the Tundra supposedly was on the small side.  Maybe I'm wrong there but if I'm correct and the new Tundra stacks up to the full size pickups offered by the big 2.5, they all have 1 more reason to start sweating bullets now.

Well....I have to laugh when I stand next to a Ford truck.

The tops of the sides of its bed are almost at my forehead and I'm 5'11'' tall!

If the bed of the Toyota is taller than that,it's pretty much useless to the casual user.

The size of these things has gotten ridiculous.

Now when gas spikes again even Toyota's trucks will sit on the lot.

If you want to drive something that big just go down to Ryder and rent a 24 foot box truck!

Just saw this new at the Toyota Dealership.

Looks MUCH better in person than in the pictures.

It is BIG.

Would I buy one?

No.

Full sized new Ford F-150's are being advertised with ac and automatic right now in our area for as little as $12,000.

And I would want a truck that I don't have to worry about scratching up.

Those new Toyota's going at 22 grand to start?

The Ford is not a custom pickup at this price,it's just a great truck when you need one that does'nt break your bank account.

With the money I save I'll buy  side boards so I can reach in the side of the bed of it! Grin

Now,it's time for me to eat my words.

Just took a real good look at two Tundra's for sale here in Fredericksburg,Va.

One was a $30,000 SR-5 two wheel drive model extended cab and the other was a $40,000 Limited model extended cab four wheel drive with leather interior.

Weeeeuuu!Them's is some nice pickup trucks!!!!!!!

Really, really clean well figured out styling and appointments inside the cab.

Yes,it is huge but if you're a pickup trick kind of guy and you want one of the most stylish trucks on the market, those Tundra's ARE NICE.

I can't afford them or justify the mileage but if I woned a business and spent alot of my day in my pickup,I'd give the Tundra a look.

It would look great in the driveway and you're girl or your wife would like it as well.

It's really something unexpected in the nicer trim levels.
