The Dodge Avenger isn't on sale yet, but Dodge has already announced $500 cash back. Some confidence they have in the new sedan. . .

Why not rebates already? It's not as if they broke real new ground with this one like they did with the original Stratus. Really, the Avenger is simply the less ugly of two cars that need a complete restyling before they could be considered fit to be marketed.

The Avenger got a bum rap as a fill in model to take advantage of the Magnum and Charger styling momentum.

I actually like the car and it is selling at a bargain.

Now,the reliabilty of this car has'nt been reported yet,the car is still fairly new but if you get a great price,Dodge backs this car with a great warranty and the dealerships are usually right where you live.

Plus,the Avenger gets good gas mileage and has some nicely styled models.

You have two people on this forum that already say they've bought them,please-REAL OWNERS-let's here how you like those Avengers!!!!

Let my wife out to trade her 06 Liberty. She came home with various vehicles and I finally gave in and we now own an Avenger SXT. I was in the auto business for 20 yrs. 1970-1990, and have never been so positively impressed with a car that has so many bad reviews. Driving through Buffalo NY at rush hour AM and PM, I was truly impressed. We put 266 miles on the little 'miracle' last monday, and I felt like a kid with a Camaro SS. It drove in and out of horrific traffic on Interstate 90 like an old Alpine GT. It also gave us 31.748 miles per gallon.
FINALLY, a car I can ENJOY putting a few miles on. Try one before you buy and keep an open mind. Seems to me that many articles are being written by folks who have not driven the vehicle they are evaluating. Our test drive was from Warren Pennsylvania to Batavia, New York. Some back roads and some Interstate and some Major city driving. I would buy it again.....make sure you get the compass and mapping version of the "my gig". Dave P
