Geneva – The Dodge Demon concept is a compact, nimble "roadster with an attitude," a perfect balance of classic sports car proportion and simplicity blended with modern design and performance. http://automen.blogspot.com/2007/02/dodge-demon-roadster-concept-at-geneva.html

Very strange looking coupe.
I'm with you on this one-Austin Cooper.
It's like four other cars lines mixed up in one.
NOT a Dodge Original concept-really sad coming from the company that had the courage to put out the Charger and Magnum cars.
And-the fronts the best looking part of the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Dodge Demon looks quite exciting. Its got a memorable look. I would like a six cylinder engine though if I were to buy it.
One side note...why is Dodge using names for their cars that represent army, war,or evil sounding words? Demon, Charger, Avenger, Crossfire, Ram et al... Is Dodge competing for market share (in order to stay alive) by selling cars sound like they will kill for it?
Holy bible thumpers will probably stay away from Dodge dealerships. Young and upcoming rebels will flock to Dodge. The rest of us will wonder when Dodge will bring out the Angel...Maybe Dodge is the devil of all car companies while Chrysler is the Angel(or star which is what Chrysler means) of heaven. Chrysler would be wise to call their future 4 door supercruiser 'God'. Now, that would really be a delusion of grandeur.

The Demon does absolutely nothing to tug at my styling heartstrings. The trapezoidal shapes give it a miniature "Ram" look which I'm not too fond of. I do appreciate the simplicity of the interior though.
I would consider the Solstice or Sky first just because they look like they were styled, not thrown together from existing models. They're both pretty cozy cars as well.

Real American muscle cars have been gone since the 70's and will never return. Sure, the Charger, Challenger, and GTO namesakes have all been revived (or will be shortly) but these modern versions are all tamed by computers.
We still know how to build cars that go like stink (Viper, Vette, GT500) but these aren't muscle cars, they're just fast cars.

I for one am looking forward to this car coming into production. Yes it only has a 4 cylinder but when they put the turbo on it im sure it will have plenty of power. In an age of high gas prices we need to conserve when we can and still have preformance it may not be the same as our days of the muscle but im sure it will still do alright. if and when they do build this car im going to own one

I have to agree about the looks.. Why can't they come up with something new for this new Roadster ? Probably using existing chasis, dies, and what not that they already have, to save some money..

As long as Mazda continues to build the Miata, there is no way in hell I'll ever consider owning a Dodge Demon.

If i was to design a brand new concept car, it would be way different from the company's flagship model or far different from Dodge's lineup of vehicles. The Demon concept was a just a compressed blend of the Charger and some Dodge Ram trucks. Unlike the CTS Coupe Concept with the perfect and dazzling Cadillac park light assembly, the Dodge Demon created minimal impact that could have raised Dodge's nameplate to the top.

Talk about an old style. Dodge has had that same front end on everything for almost 10 years, Talk about boring, plain, ordinary, UGLY.

Yea, you might be right the huge truck like grill might be a set back...maybe something more refined would be better? Yet overall the front end looks down right mean from a distance. Screw that nice guy, gay look! That's something rarely seen on a Dodge, except the Neon. And agressive names are the pride of Mopar...screw Miata, Soltice...what kinda gay name is that??? Overall this car looks miles beyond Miata and Soltice! I agree the truck like grill is getting old, yet it looks mean and probably will have more bite to back it up than it's gay compettitors! Punch me in the head and you will awaken a sleeping giant!!! I look mean...and if you mess with me...you will find I am!!!

Thankfully/sadly/however you feel, the Demon probably isn't going to see production. Like every other promising Chrysler concept roadster from the past ten years, the Demon is going to sink under a sea of corporate indifference. Chrysler has too many other things on its plate--including saving the company from the financial and sales apocalypse--to bother with a halo roadster.
