They are 3 very different cars! I prefer the Bimmer! Why? Because it's a BMW!

My biggest problem with the evo and the gt-r is the all wheel drive. I know it makes it easier to drive, but really the m3 is just a more fun car and the rear wheel drive just adds to that. I just hope the V8 can live up to the old inline 6.

wtf are you talking about dog?  GTR will destroy the new M3.  0-60 in 3.3sec vs. 4.4sec.  The GTR already killed 911 turbo and 911 GT3 on the track.

-The GTR is a nonstarter because of availability and ridiculous dealer price gouging. I was considering one but the three dealers I talked to wanted a minimum of $25k over list.
-The Evo is slower and less raw than the previous model. So forget it.
-The M3 is still the benchmark. It has been getting rave reviews everywhere. And has completely humiliated its direct competitor, the more powerful Mercedes C63.

The M3 is not a street car it is luxury. But i would take it over the other 2 anyday if money wasn't an option.

Hmm, the GTR for me. I am saying this because I believe that the new M3 is nothing more than a well executed GT car, not a true sports car anymore, as in my humble opinion, that belonged to the e-36 m3 (I now 240 horses, but, it had to be driven, not moved; ah-la lotus elise). The Evo was a niche car that attempted to to generalize itself, alienating its true fanbase (and only clientele) in the effort. Plus, it doesnt look as perfomance oriented as the IX does, which, in the eyes of many, is its Achilles Heel, well that and it weighs more, isnt as spry, and not as raw, which is a shame. The GTR. A sports car. No. A GT car. Not quite. But, Nissan badge aside, its strikes a fine cord somewhere in between. Its perfornce is immortal. Its comforts, although very japanese, they look very artsy, and sculpted. And the technology could shame the Hubble Space Telescope's, and Iphone's child (if they had one, I think it might be the f-22 raptor). All that for 80k,er, I meant 100k. Its still a bargain. Oh, and its a V6, not an inline. I like the GTR, and everything its stands for.

Definitely the M3 V8. I can't wait to add an exhaust that sounds better than an F430s and transplant to a Z4 Coupe!
