The Land Rover LR3 is designed at a lower price-point to more realistically compete with its American (I know it's owned by Ford, but it still feels British) and Japanese and, now, Korean competitors. We've found it to be exremely comfortable and capable in a great many driving conditions, but a bevy of technical problems left us initially disappointed. Those have been straightened out now but, as they say about first impressions...
How have your experiences compared to ours? Have there been other problems with initial quality or long-term reliability. How about fuel economy, we saw 16 mpg on the highway, how does that compare with your experience?
