The BMW 3-Series is a perennial classic and this latest iteration is no exception. So far, we've found the car to be, by and large, living up to its reputation. The power is ample and the handling is superb. There have been a few complaints cropping up in the logbook, however. We don't think that it's anywhere near enough to dull our enthusiasm for the vehicle.
What do you think? Owners especially, how well does the BMW 3-series, particularly the 330i, live up to its reputation. Does the product justify its premium price? Sound off here!

Can you provide an update on the situation described on page 108 of the February issue (camshaft replacement, etc)? E90Post ("metallic ticking noise") and Bimmerfest ("Problems w/Automobile Magz 330i test") both have long threads about this issue, and it looks like it could be a big issue. I am very eager to hear more about your experience. Thanks much.

I would be anxious to hear about the run-flat tire issue and the run-around by bmw of bimmer owners and the problems they are having with them.
