Thanks to some recent spy photos, we've been able to confirm that the next M3 will have a 6-speed stick (probably alongside an SMG.) But if the M5 has taught us anything, we can't sigh with relief yet--stability control may not be able to be fully deactivated.

I guess just keep your fingers crossed. At least the manual will be available, which is more than the M5 had at launch.

hopefully the engine wont be such an overly complex peice of technology that it needs a computer to keep it from flying apart.
nothing is cooler than a (barely) detuned f1 powertrain in a road car but simplicity has its upside too.
