Does this seem backwards to anyone else? Shouldn't research and development from the more expensive Lamborghinis trickle down to Audi, rather than the reverse?  

Audi has been racing their cars for a hundred years now.

Lately,they've have phenomenol success in World Sports Cars at LeMans and elsewhere.

Lamborghini's are a very fast style car-some have been raced but by and large Audi's considerable technological superiority means they should help Lamborghini and maybe Lamborghini could give something back to Audi-but I doubt it.
