James Bond message board MI6 is predicting that Mr. Bond will be driving a production version of the C-XF concept for the next 007 film, since a multi-million dollar deal with Ford is still in effect. Is this the right car for James? Why not that lovely new Focus?

Sounds like a good fit to me. The only question is whether or not Ford will have sold off Jaguar and the rest of the Premier Automotive Group by then.

After the Ford deal expires it would be nice to see James Bond in a Lotus again once the Esprit replacemenet comes out. (Bond drove one in '77 and '81)

Now you're reminding me why I haven't watched a Bond movie for a long, long, time.
The Jag XF might be a nice car too but it's still too mainstream for 007. Since these movies keep lowering their standards though, I wouldn't be surprised if he uses one next time around.

Austin....Casino Royale is REALLY worth watching! it stripped away all the crappiness that Die Another Day had (meaning no craptacular cg effects, corny lines, over the top gadgets)

I really love the new jaguar, props to tata, but I think he should stick to driving an Aston. There is always the chance of going with an old one but maybe if the budget for the film was big enough, why not have him drive a One-77?

You mean props to Ford, right? It was designed/developed/initially produced under Ford ownership, not Tata's.
