We've heard rumors that the next Honda S2000 will not only move up in price and comfort, but might even have four seats, too. We've always loved that car because of the light weight, ultra-high-revving engine, no-frills factor. Price and size would ruin Honda's little gem.

No surprise there. There's very few cars if any in America that don't go through their evolution and just become bigger and bigger That says something about this country when it comes to automobiles. Fortunately the Elise can still be had. And when Honda is done porking out their S2000, I imagine not too many $$$ will separate the 2

Honda knows what they are doing. To keep things fresh they re-invent or totally redesign their cars. They're in the business to sell great cars and make good money too. I like this company because they are on the leading edge of engineering and design. You car mag likes their cars too. Too bad for the loss of a sport coupe but I'm sure they'll come up with something more.

I think honda knows what they're doing, but at the same time I miss the old honda, who used to make spartan products like the Honda S800. Toyota did too, with its Toyota S800 and 2000GT. Both Honda S800 and Toyota S800 were tiny sports cars with just enough stuff and no extra features, and both were light and had small engines. What if honda made a sportscar with the Fit components? and really cheap so we can actually afford them? Mazda did, and I'm sure Honda can too.

I wouldn't mind a hardtop S2k for added structural rigidity. A la BMW M coupe.

I'm all for Honda trying something new, but why the S2000? I have always been very fond of this car, and it makes me sad that Honda is going to change it so much.

Since Honda now has a cool AWD system as well as a turbo system, I want to see them create a competitor for the Evo and STi.
