The Acura 2006 Advanced Coupe Concept car is the most hideous thing ever placed on four wheels.  If this machine was faster than a Bugatti Veryon, more fuel efficient than a Honda Insight, More supple riding than a Rolls Royce, handled like a Lotus elise, and they were giving them away; I would not own one.  If Acura builds a car that looks anything like this one the phrase ugly duckling will become Acura duckling.  

I couldn't find the coupe, unless you're mistaking the sedan for a coupe?  
It does almost have a coupe look to it.  
It appears to have suicide doors though,
from what I can see. Since it's just a
protype, if Honda ever does green light
it, the chances of it looking anything
like this are pretty slim. It would look
better if they got rid of that tall
look seen in the doors.  That's the
same kind of styling element
that made the Toyota Echo
look anything but desirable too.

 

The front looks ridiculous!

But so does the new Acura SUV's front end they're selling now!

Give me a Pilot's styling anyday of the week over this monstrosity.  

This cars styling disturbs me greatly because it very much resembles the racist cartoons of Asains shown in the 1940's.

I almost have to believe that somewhere at Acura there is a head designer that got frustrated and said "You want faces on your cars I'll give your car a face!"

And he proceeded to look at those cartoons as his inspiration.

Buck teeth,slanted eyes and an ignorant grin tell me there was more to the styling of this car than meets the eye.

I could be TOTALLY wrong but the resemblance to those images is undeniable.

And I hope I am wrong.

Acura is a great company with great people there.

Something is going on in their styling department.
