I can't believe it, but a whole crock pot of chili just spilled on the front passanger seat of my 2002 Olds Alero.  My options seem to be to pull up the seat and carpet and clean, which I don't know how to do, or take it somewhere to get it cleaned.

What do you suggest?  How do you pull the seat on my car to clean under the carpet?  What a stinking nightmare

I have a 1995 GMC Sierra, recently the fuses have been blowing as soon as i put them in for the windshield wipers. The fuse box calles for a 25, i put those in they blow, so i went up to a 30 and they blow also. Sometimes when i put them in they blow out after a day or so. I have gone through 5 fuses in 3 days! Does anybody know what the problem could be? Thanks for any help that you can give!!!!

A week ago I was swiped by a trailer at a roundabout and my left rear alloy had to be replaced. It was after this accident and while driving to the garage that I noticed that my steering was not pointing straight. The alloy was replaced and the necessary wheel balancing and allignment were done, yet the problem still persists. If I leave the steering the car goes in a straight line, but the minute I keep the wheel horizontal with the dash the vehicle moves to the right

My car is a Infiniti G35 which is only 3 months old. Can someone shed some light on this issue. The dealer says that there is no problem and they dont want to touch the steering wheel since it was factory set, so leave things be. I find it quite awkard and am constantly conscious about it. The dealer also maintains that the nothing would have happened to the steering since the accident took place at the rear. Steering issues are only related with the front wheel. Is this correct or is there an impact related issue that they dont want to address

I drive a 2006 BMW 330i. I have found that on a track, the car responds very well to trail braking. As this is sort of a momentum car, it works best when entry speeds are high and speed is bled off by hard braking with some trail braking to help turn the car. It works beautifully and reliably. My question is, since BMWs (and presumably other cars) can turn while under ABS braking it is hypothetically possible to enter the corner under ABS actuation and use that to turn the car as you would if trail braking. No doubt very dangerous, but would it work?
