Okay, so in the November issue, we spill the beans that the VW Tiguan will be at Los Angeles auto show next month.
We aren't fans of its name - it's half "Tiger" and half "Iguana". You can blame readers of a German car magazine for naming it. Or even better, blame VW for thinking it was a good idea to have Germans name an SUV for the US Market.
Either way, we think it should be called something else. We just don't know what. Do you have any suggestions?

I wish that superficial responses like this were a stereotype and not a malignant part of modern society. But who really cares about the name? I don't care if the name is half pig and half dog--Schweinehund--it's all about cost, performance, fuel efficiency. Because if those things really are there, then not only will it sell very well, but there will also be one in my driveway no later than November of '08, if the market is lucky enough to see it available.
