I had a chance to see the R8 in person in NYC this past week and it's unbelievable! Kudos to Audi on the design.
By the way - why not the Hottest 4 cars and include the 2007 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione? That's one car I'd beg to get imported to the US.

I agree. The R8 is nothing less than brilliant. For quite a while now, nothing has been able to interrupt my Aston V8 Vantage dreams. These days, I'm dreaming of four rings, loads of carbon fiber, and an illuminated engine bay (so awesome). What a beautiful piece of art on wheels.

i would personally say that the skylind tops the chevrolet. it's much better looking, a new cutting edge style and lots more horseys. im my opinion, the skyline beats about any car coming out to the market.

my favorite car in this show is also the R8. i didn't know the engine compartment was lighted though, so cool. i have to say,however, i think the peugeot is more interesting. 800+ ft/lb of torque?! i just wish it was a little better looking...
